Urban Decay's Flipside is SUCH a pretty color! I was playing with it for no good reason and I laaahhhhhve it! Again the blending isn't that great-- but I'm still learning :) I guess you could use it for New Years, but add a darker color to the crease to make it look dramatic, cause I was just playing with it here lol.
yummo :)

Omg Today was fun :) My cousin/Partner in Crime Adrianne took me with her friends to the Ferry Building to chow down on some classy champagne and oysters. I wanted to wear red shadow but it looked a bit harsh so I put a light brown over it and it turned out so soft! I really liked it-- pat on the back for me!! lol
I was also wearing my new tinted lip conditioner in, "Feelin' Good" from their warm and Cozy collection. I heart this lip conditioner so much! I might go get "close for comfort" just because it looks so soft and pulls the softness of the look together.
Deliciousness :)
But I did go to the Ferry Building with a lot of wonderful women! I had fun and it was sooo claaaaaassy lol

Disclaimer:
I hope everyone knows how much of a huge Alice in Wonderland FREAK I am.
I received the, "Annotated Alice: The Definitive Edition" in Hardback for Christmas from Randy's uncle Gerry. omg I almost drooled! I was freaking out when people's hands were touching it cause of their natural oils and things hahha (im a freak i told you..) It was one of my favorite books growing up and It was one of my favorite cartoons :) Im more of a book nerd than anything and this book travels through a wonderland of nature and allows the reader to imagine this great place! I'm also a huge nature-y girl and I love everything about mother earth (See my beauty of being natural blog here ) So when my cousin told me that Urban Decay was making an Alice in Wonderland Palette I freaked the f*ck out.
The shadows are focused on earthy tones and darker colors which represent Lewis Carroll's darker perception of Alice :) yes, i researched it. This palette is similar to the Urban Decay Book of Shadows 2 in respect to it's packaging because it includes 16 shadows, 2 24/7 liners and a small Urban Decay Primer Potion.
But the packaging bro-- The packaging. It has a pop-up top that has Alice wondering through Nature and the infamous looking glass (The Mirror lol). ::Sighhhhhhhh:: It was supposed to come out today, but I'm glad it didnt cause I dont have any money right now. If it comes out in March i'll have the funds :) okay enough rambling.. im just really excited!
Isnt it gorgeous???
::siiggghhhhhhhhhhhhh::

Oh the Joy!!! My lovely cousin Adrianne purchased this palette a few months ago from this super hot gay guy at Sephora, and she couldn't stop telling me how good the Urban Decay shadows are. So I slaved and slaved away to save up for this palette (lol that's a lie, I sat in front of a computer and waited for payday to come haha jk) but yes.. The colors are soooo soft!! and they blend together sooo well! As a MAC whore it's hard to find other brands that I can get addicted to, But this palette was sooo worth it! 16 beautiful colors, 2 24/7 eye liners in "zero" & "Bourbon", and a small bottle of Urban Decay Primer Potion all for the reasonable price of $48. Deliciousness mmmmmmmmmm :) enjoy!

I was playing with my matte colors the other day and I really liked it! I always use shimmer shadows with matte colors in the crease, but I used mostly matte or matte-ish colors for dimension. The only PROBLEM is that I had mascara residue on my lid :/ maaaan, it's a huge pet peeve, but oh well this post will only make me more aware so that I dont do it anymore cause it looks so sloppy. Most of the time I don't notice that it's there until after I've left my house and I can't touch it up lol.
Another lesson learned :)

I was totally in the mood for Golds and Green's when I went to church for Christmas Eve, it was nice to do and very simple. I loove my Honey Lust, so I wanted to use it for nostalgia lol.
My family doesn't really celebrate Christmas, we open all our presents on New Years and it's been a tradition ever since I was born. Most people think It's odd, but I'm used to it lol. But I hope you all had a great Christmas!

mmmm I was playing with pinks and purples before my night out and I had waaaay too much fun with it lol. The blending is still suckie but I liked the way it turned out.. My face however, I didn't like the way the Makeup Forever HD foundation looked on my face. it was waaay too light! I set it with my MSF in medium dark AND warmth and my face still looked too light. :/ No Bueno. but it's okay I can use it in the winter or something, cause it's still a good foundation but the color is too light.
Super fun night out! Im so glad I have my friends to hang out with-- I heart them very much!

So SJSU's College of Business had their annual Holiday Party this past Friday-- and since im technically an employee, I got to schmooze with the faculty and staff and watch some of them drink too much wine lol.
But I never do my makeup for work, and while I'm learning how to blend I chose to use my greens! Festive yeah? By playing with the contours of the eye, I highlighted the middle of my lid and shading the outer AND inner corners of my eyes. I lept it soft towards my inner lid though since I've never done this technique before. But I liked the way it turned out :)
So fun!

Soooooo my lovely roomie Christina had her Formal so I did her hair and makeup. She's already super gorgeous so I didn't even have to do much-- but she has really good lid space, so I messed with her crease.. A LOT lol
The theme was black and white but she wanted color so I put a little bit of blue :) soo perteeee.
I liked the silvery color of the lid mixed in with the dark grey :) and the pop of blue was subtle but fun :)
I hope she had a great time at her formal and plus it's always fun playing dress up with the girls :)

mmmmmmmmmmm matte :)
I purchased my first matte black nail polish back in August of this year and I cannot believe I haven't mentioned it before... ZOYA MATTE in DOVIMA. It's delicious and I can't stop wearing it for some reason-- but it's very modern and so cute! I heart it!
lol while my BF plays games i use his iphone to take pics of my nails :)
Even playing with textures and giving myself a white stripe down the middle. Nail polishes are fun, it's really cool to design and play with your nails. It's a cool way to express your personality subtly without looking going too far :) Have fun with it babies!
