Every Halloween, Adobe does a dance to Michael Jackson's Thriller. And this year they wanted the men to be dead vampires!
I gladly volunteered to help them with this transformation. I had 45 minutes and 8 men to work on. This was a rushed job-- but a fun one :)
I finally have time to put this up! JJ Casas and the Mybfcloset team allowed me to work my magic on 10 gorgeous faces for the 2011 calendar :)
This weekend I did the makeup for the MyBFCloset.com Calendar Photo shoot! I had SUCH an aaaammmaaaaazzzing experience! I haven't done makeup on people for a while so I was a little rusty, but I learned which products I really can't live without and which products needed to GO... but all in all it was a SUPER fun shoot and I fell in Love with makeup again :) I've been buying products here and there and testing a few looks on myself but I haven't been blogging.. So I'm hoping to pick this blog up again.. let's cross our fingers shall we? :)
Here are a few looks from the shoot. These pictures were taken by Jessica Phan:

I recently came back from a very relaxing trip in Vegas! I was having a very fun girls trip, and even met up with my lovely roomies! I had an amazing time and for the most part, I wouldn't change my trip for the world!
Except if I could, I would change one thing..
I wouldn't have lost all my makeup at the airport.
If I could turn back the hands of time, I would hold on to my makeup bag like my life depended on it LOL! and like any Makeup fanatic would know, when we go on trips, we dont just bring "necessities" especially when we go places like Las Vegas. I lost a significant amount of makeup, and on top of it, I brought all the good stuff! The things I'm most sad about are the limited edition products that were in there and my brushes. I packed ALL my MAC brushes and now they're all gone :(
After all the freaking out, I reminded myself that they're just material things, and I can't stress out too much-- I calmed down and got ready for the night using my friend's makeup :) (Thanks guys!)
All in all I had an amazing time! And the next day I got to visit the MAC pro store in the Forum Shops! I re-purchased a lot of my old items and it wasn't so bad :) I just thought I would share this with you guys because it was so heartbreaking at the time lol.
lets just hope this never happens again lol

Of course most people have seen Lady Gaga's newest music video, "Telephone" featuring Beyonce. Many people have recreated Beyonce's infamous yellow liner including me! I decided to change it up a little bit, but keep the look simple.
I really enjoyed doing this look! it was really quick and easy to do :)

Today Nordstroms had this amazing MAC offer! If you bought two of their shadows, you received one for free! The interesting part of this is-- online and in e-mails, it said that you would only receive "Shroom" as the free shadow. However, when my cousin and I entered Nordstroms we realized that you were able to choose whichever shadow you wanted! You should have seen my face! lol I hovered over the shadow stand with my mouth open searching for shadows! I'm glad none of my old co-workers saw me when I was at the MAC counter looking like a hungry animal trying to find its prey.
but aaaaaaaaaaanywhoozle. I picked 6 shadows and I'm extremely satisfied with what I got.
Tete-a-tint, Brulee, Shale, Newly Minted, Coppering and Sketch
I lovessss it! I'm definitely done with eyeshadow for a really really long time! lol
